The mission of the Yavapai Family Advocacy Center is to assist child or vulnerable adult victims of abuse, neglect, domestic violence or sexual assault by reducing trauma, insuring thorough investigation and prosecution through a multidisciplinary team process.

At the Yavapai Family Advocacy Center, victims have the opportunity to obtain a variety of crisis services in one location, with all agencies working together to stop the hurt and start the healing process.  Victims are brought to the Center by law enforcement or child or adult protective services. Forensic interviews and medical examinations are conducted to further the investigation and specially trained Victim Advocates are available to address the victim's immediate needs and provide emotional support.
